I was born in Warsaw, Poland and I studied architecture at Warsaw University of Technology (aka Warsaw Polytechnic).
I moved to Stockholm, Sweden where I graduated from the Royal Institute of Technology with Master's Degree in Architecture. Qualified as an architect in Sweden I worked on few projects for FFNS Arkitekter and Hjelm & Eckstein Arkitektkontor AB. A few years later I decided to move to the United States.
San Francisco became my new home city, and I have worked here as a lead designer on a variety of projects ranging from university laboratory buildings through interiors of “5 star” hotels for several known firms, among others NBBJ and HOK .
Year 2000 I co-established Metropolitan Architecture, Inc. (METa) and was mostly involved in tenant improvement projects and residential construction. One of METa’s projects - headquarters for EarthJustice received in 2004 LEED Silver Rating.
In 2005 I established Lucian Design Group dedicated to quality design through technical and artistic excellence.
In my free time, I enjoy skiing and bicycling, listening to classical music, watching movies, reading and cooking. I also create art pieces: paintings and sculpture. The art of ancient and contemporary Japan is close to my heart...
